The Seine River is located in France, and is the second longest river right after the Loire River. It flows for 776 km (482 mi) from it's source on the Plateau de Longres near Dijon northwestwards, until it empties into the English Channel through an estuary. The river is used for many human activities, especially agricultural farming. The Seine River runs right through Troyes, and the middle of the City of Lights - Paris. The Seine Basin is an important part of Paris, as it is the most productive area for agricultural farming.
